Hello digital payments world! It’s an exciting time to be participating in and talking about the digital payments industry. I hope that all of you have found the time to read our series’ on PSD2 SCA exemptions and the Visa Delegated Authentication Program. Both of these topics will play a significant role in the future of our industry, which is why we want to make sure that you know as much about them as possible!
Over the last couple months, we also touched on data, in a broad sense, talking about its importance to PSD2 SCA, EMV® 3-D Secure and the industry as a whole. In the coming weeks, we’re going to dive deeper into this area, specifically touching on the role of data in the new 3-D Secure protocol, and how it differentiates this protocol in the marketplace.
In my two decades at Cardinal, I’ve learned a lot, however, one thing that still holds true today is that data is, and always will be vitally important in our industry. Even after all these years, data is always evolving, and there’s always more to learn. I hope that you’ll stick around to learn more about the role of data within EMV 3DS!
