Hello again digital payments community! I’m thrilled to be speaking with everyone again, as there are several different stories, events and important developments in the world of digital commerce that we should discuss.
But first, I hope all of you had a chance to dive into our most recent series on data, and its general importance to both our goals and objectives and the entire industry’s. We live in a data-rich time, which gives us the opportunity to leverage all these different data points to make the digital world a better and safer place for consumers. It really is exciting stuff!
But enough about data. Today, we’re here to talk more about PSD2 SCA. I hope that our previous series on this topic has been a good resource for anyone who’s been curious about this mandate, exemptions, different approaches and more.
But we’ve only scratched the surface with PSD2 SCA. We’ll continue to share what we know over the next few months. With Visa Delegated Authentication, a new program, issuers will be able to conduct SCA in a new, transformative way. In the coming weeks, we will really focus on this new program, some of its features and the impact it could have on our industry, as well as a couple other things along the way.
Be sure to stick around!
