Data's Time Has Arrived

I’m back! I hope all of you enjoyed our recent series on PSD2 SCA, its exemptions, and the different approaches that certain merchants are taking regarding these exemptions. More importantly, I hope you found these posts to be informative and insightful, and that you will be able to use this information to effectively prepare for the upcoming PSD2 SCA deadline, which arrives in September.

While PSD2 SCA is taking up a lot of our time at the moment, everyone is also still thinking about EMV® 3-D Secure (commonly referred to as 3-D Secure 2.0). Right now, these are the two biggest stories in our industry.

Both PSD2 SCA and EMV 3DS are pushing the boundaries when it comes to data, and what it’s capable of in our space. We will be talking more about data, its incredible effect on outcomes, its role as a differentiator and a lot more regarding this topic in the coming weeks!

We are heavily invested in the use of data, as it’s at the core of everything we do. I believe that this emphasis on data will push our industry forward to exciting, new places. What do you think?

EMV® is a registered trademark in the U.S. and other countries and an unregistered trademark elsewhere. The EMV trademark is owned by EMVCo, LLC.
