This week Cardinal was at the Intercontinental Buckhead Hotel in Atlanta for the MRC US platinum conference. There was great southern hospitality with bourbon bars, fried chicken and who could forget the shrimp and grits.
The pre-conference Payments 201 and Fraud 201 workshops provided great tips, tricks & insight from industry experts.
The kickoff keynote given by social media expert Alexandra Samuel gave an interesting view into the post-Millennial age of online shoppers - and how to account for the different risks associated with the "first 2nd generation of internet users".
It was great to hear from both keynotes to plan for our future in technology as well as how not to “arm wrestle” when you are negotiating to a win-win. The breakout sessions were great and gave opportunities to dive deep into some topics. We loved talking about Consumer Authentication leveraging 3-D Secure protocols. The general sessions on Wednesday covered a variety of topics from Brexit to the future of payments to 3DS 2.0.
Loved all the networking opportunities especially the dive bar party sponsored by WhitepagesPro at Northside Tavern.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in Vegas in March.
