With the arrival of March, this also means that it’s time for one of the biggest events in the digital payments industry – MRC 2018, which is being held from March 19-22 at the Aria Resort in Las Vegas.
This conference, put on by the Merchant Risk Council, is routinely one of the most important conferences of the year in the areas of digital payments, fraud, cybersecurity and technology. Every year, merchants and technology providers travel to Vegas to learn about recent and exciting developments in this industry.
Additionally, there will be a strong Cardinal presence in Vegas when the conference kicks off on March 19. That first evening, there is a Welcome Party sponsored by Vantiv. It should serve as an excellent kick-off event for the entire week.
Throughout the week, there are events and sessions where you will be able to find different members of the Cardinal team. On Wednesday, March 21 at 1:00 p.m., Paul Harrison, Vice President of Enterprise Sales at Cardinal, will be delivering a presentation at the Demo Theatre entitled, “A Tale of Two Brothers.” In it, he will discuss different issues some digital merchants have with fraud and how they can be resolved.
That same day, Jaime Howard, Vice President of Product Management at Cardinal, will be talking about one of the hottest topics in the industry – 3-D Secure 2.0. Her presentation, “What is All the Buzz About 3-D Secure 2.0” will be at 3:15 p.m. and should be one of the can’t-miss events of the entire week.
To top it all off, Cardinal will be co-sponsoring, with CyberSource, the Women in Payments and Fraud Luncheon on Thursday, March 22nd at 12 p.m. This should be a great event and an excellent networking opportunity for everyone in attendance.
There will also be an Espresso Cart at the conference, which will be sponsored by Cardinal. If, at any time during the week, you’re losing steam or feeling tired, stop by and grab a coffee or an espresso to get you through the day.
MRC Vegas 2018 will be here before you know it and it promises to be an excellent week of learning, networking and re-connecting with old friends. Be sure to stop by and see us at Booth #314 throughout the week to talk about the latest developments with 3-D Secure 2.0 and PSD2. We look forward to seeing you there!
One Connection to Cardinal will Drive Digital Commerce.
