While the first day of the Merchant Advisory Group’s Mid-Year Conference was packed with formalities and introductions, the second day was fast-paced, filled with various panels and discussions about interesting topics in the digital payments space.
While members of the Cardinal team all attended different panels throughout the day, there was a heavy focus, and a lot of positive discussion, surrounding 3-D Secure 2.0. This evolution is one of the biggest ongoing stories in the industry and these updated protocols will have a profound effect on the future of digital commerce, for merchants, issuers and consumers.
Bruce Poore, Cardinal’s Senior Vice President of Global Sales, also delivered a presentation about 3-D Secure 2.0, mainly touching on how it will utilize enhanced data to allow for better decision-making during authentication. The attendees at the presentation included several different issuers and merchants, and it was well received by everyone in attendance.
After a long, tiring day, there was another networking event in the evening, giving everyone a chance to get reacquainted with old friends or colleagues from the day before or to meet some new ones. Additionally, after a long week out west, the conference wraps up today. For the Cardinal team, the MAG Mid-Year Conference was an educational, informational event.
One Connection to Cardinal will Drive Digital Commerce.
